Practice Projects

Turning research into tools, pathways, and possibilities

Dr. Nagy develops research-to-practice initiatives that help people understand their resources, navigate opportunity, and move from insight to action. These projects are designed to evolve through collaboration, testing, and real-world use.

Connect(or)

A platform concept for transforming relationships and resources into meaningful career opportunities.

Connect(or) is grounded in a simple premise: people often possess more career resources than they realize, but those resources are distributed across experiences, relationships, knowledge, and communities. The project explores how those assets can become visible, connected, and actionable.

Focus: career resources · networks · opportunity · meaningful connection

Startup Compass

A framework for helping aspiring entrepreneurs clarify direction and identify the next evidence-based step.

Startup Compass brings together questions of readiness, identity, resources, opportunity, and ecosystem support. It is designed to help people move beyond generic startup advice and make decisions that fit their actual goals and circumstances.

Focus: entrepreneurial readiness · direction · decision-making · ecosystems

Career Resource Questionnaire

An evidence-informed approach to mapping the resources people can draw on to build sustainable careers.

The Career Resource Questionnaire supports reflection on psychological, social, and structural resources. It can inform individual development, teaching, coaching, and organizational conversations about career sustainability.

Focus: self-awareness · career agency · employability · sustainability

Research to Impact LLC

The applied home for translating scholarship into tools, learning experiences, workshops, and partnerships.

Research to Impact LLC connects Dr. Nagy’s academic work with organizations and communities seeking thoughtful, evidence-based approaches to careers, entrepreneurship, negotiation, communication, and workforce innovation.

Focus: translation · learning design · workshops · collaboration
